Collected on the southern slope of the Montsec mountains, to the region of La Noguera, just on el mosaic de cereals, ametllers i oliveres de la vall d’Àger es barreja amb les rouredes i els alzinars de les faldes de la muntanya.

ROTATING HARVEST

Olives harvested manually, at the optimal point of maturation and thanks to the participation of volunteers from Slow Food Terres de Lleida. Exchanged with the farmer on the same farm, previ establiment d’un preu just de 0,75€/Kg.

OBTENCIÓ

Obtained in an artisan mill, cold and without filtering.

EXTRA VERGE OLIVE OILS

Superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and only through mechanical procedures.

PROPERTIES

L’oli d’oliva Verge Extra conté àcids grassos monoinsaturats, vitamins A, D, K i E, and powerful antioxidants such as tocopherols and polyphenols. Diferents estudis mostren que usat regularment pot prevenir el càncer, heart and brain attacks and tissue aging; també provoca el suïcidi de les cèl•lules tumorals , improves circulation, stimulates intestinal transit and reduces gastric acidity.

Total polyphenols: 238 mg/kg

acidity: 0,19% and oleic acid (maximum EU: 0,80%)

peroxides: 9,8 meq O2/kg of oil (maximum EU: 20)

Per tal de conservar-ne totes les propietats, protegiu-lo de la llum i manteniu-lo entre 15o i 18oC
